   Dear Sir/Madam,

   Hope you are doing well. I would like this opportunity to express my interest to work for your reputed organization.
   I have over 3 years experience in full/part time writing/content development/website and social media management, 1 year experience as a professor of Media Science and an MA in Mass Communication from Kalyani University (First Class First).
   I have worked previously with Venkatesh Films, a leading film company, as Content Manager, Website Manager and Social Media Marketer. I was tasked with regularly updating the company’s official website as well as maintaining the official blog with creative content like film reviews and news scoops. I also used to build liaison with the public through social media marketing, using platforms like Facebook and Twitter, about upcoming events like movie premiers, merchandise sales, promotional offers etc. Besides, I was also in charge of development of material for internal communication, ranging from fliers about gaming competitions for employees to brochures about shuffles in internal management, developments and reports from various departments etc. I also worked closely with the event management and outdoor marketing teams. I was also tasked with event management for movie premiers and other high profile events, during which I also served as an in-house journalist for the company simultaneously, doing photography, interviewing and reporting.
   I have also worked as a freelancer with various other companies like Content Yogi, Wonderslist.com etc. during course of which I have written informational and promotional material on a wide range of topics. I have also published in a number of popular websites like Kafila, Countercurrents and Global Voices as well as an academic journal (EPW). I have also collaborated with a news and commentary portal, Eye Art Collective, as a freelance correspondent.
   I have also worked as a professor of Media Science with SVIMS, Sonarpur, affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology. I was tasked with taking classes on a wide variety of subjects on my core discipline, Mass Communication, including Development Communication and New Media. I was also responsible for creating learning materials and keeping track record of the academic and professional achievements of the students, collaborating with other teachers and technical assistants etc.
