- Sound knowledge about Indian Movies (especially Bollywood)
- Degree/Diploma in Journalism, Mass communication is preferable, but not mandatory
- Should know the basics of Filmmaking, documentary films, past-present of Indian Films, Film Ethics, theories of films, etc.
- Essential Knowledge of Indian Film Industry is necessary
