Job Overview
- Must have knowledge of FCP (Editing Software’s), Different Camera’s, Script Writing
- Shall cover the Bollywood and entertainment beat – as it is happening. To break stories, create feature based desk stories. Source the best feeds from events and Bollywood shows, line-up celebrities and add star power to the channel. Lead a team of reporters and give them direction of covering the stories. Assigning stories to be covered to the team. Supervising that the requirements of stories from the content team is met as per the timelines.
- Shall report everything that’s happening in Bollywood – going on the field, getting sensational bytes and interviews from stars. Breaking stories, giving angles to stories. Providing feature story ideas for shows across the channel (including AFP shows). Writing scripts and ensuring that their stories are represented correctly on-air.
- Shall be responsible for lining up celebrities for various shows.
- Shall add star-power to our channel by ensuring that the biggest Bollywood celebrities appear on our channel regularly.
- Shall promote their stories and shows across all digital platforms
- Shall be responsible for assigning stories to be covered to the team.
- Shall manage and guide a team of junior reporters in developing and delivering stories as per the requirement of the content team and within the timelines
