Roles & Responsibilities:

—Ideate, report and write thorough, timely and incisive reportage, commentary and features

—Identify breaking and trending news on a daily basis

—Pay attention to readers’ interests and under-reported stories

—Collaborate on wider content and newsroom initiatives

Qualifications:

—0 to 4 years of experience

—News junkie with a passion for TLF’s work

—Strong news judgment and reporting skills

—Demonstrated ability to write swiftly and sharply. Your writing must demonstrate your style, i.e., it should have your distinct points of view, a sense of humour, and nuance. Bonus: Making connections within pop culture

—The ability to write a killer headline

—Attention to detail, yo!

—Nimble multi-tasker and enthusiastic collaborator in a dynamic, always-changing news environment

—Some work experience at an online publication (preferred but not
required)

This is a full-time position available only out of Bangalore. Nights and holiday work may be required.
