Position Overview
L V Prasad Film & TV Academy, started in 2005, blends educational rigor with professional practice that ensures students are trained with creative inputs geared to meet industry needs. We believe that it is not merely the training to use high-end technology that matters but it is the moulding of minds that drives great cinema.
The primary responsibilities would include
- Leading the academic unit towards improved productivity and relevancy, ensuring the academic integrity and curricular coherence of all programs embraced within it
- Defining, planning and implementing the complete academic process
- Guiding and inspiring the HOD’s and other faculty and ensuring highest quality of deliverables in all aspects
- Ensure constant update of professional and technological skills of the faculty
- Constantly review and adapt curriculum and syllabus keeping in touch with international trends
- Coordinating with the Academic Council members towards contribution to the academy’s education system and curriculum in a structured manner
Candidates
- Post Graduate with 15 + years of experience in an educational institution is essential
- Proven expertise and demonstrated record of achievements in the prior position is a pre-requisite
- Should be a highly qualified academician with international experience and exposure in Media & Entertainment related education
- Should have a flair for inspiring and leading a team of creative academic professionals
- Should possess the personality to command respect and admiration of the students
